With the wrong structure in place, you could be held personally liable for something bad that happens in your business. In many states, someone could go after your house, car, etc to satisfy a judgment against you. So make sure you get good expert advice on the best way to set up your business.
2. Be careful who you are outsourcing your work to. When you start a business, you will need a web designer, programmer, and even possibly someone to write articles for you if your business is in affiliate marketing. These people, after all, will have access to your confidential information and you need to be protected. Be sure and find out what you need to do before you run into any problems.
